Good Monday Morning. Here’s today’s Daily Nugget to chew on:

Four Things

2 Peter 1:3-4 King James Version (KJV)

³ According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: ⁴ Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Further Thought: Today’s passage reminds us that God “hath” done His part. All things that we need to live an abundant life have already been given. And He tells us that as we get to know Him through His Word, we discover what’s already been given. 

Now, He’s put the ball in our court. He now expects us to #1 know what He’s already given. #2 Believe it. #3 Receive it. And #4 rest in it. Now, as you acknowledge, believe, receive, and rest in what He’s spoken to you, firstly, know it gives Him great pleasure when you take advantage of what He’s provided. Secondly, know He watches over His Word to ensure it comes to pass in your life.

So, whatever you need, tell yourself, “I already have it. Now I need to believe it, receive it, and rest in it.”
