What’s Your Need

Good Friday Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“What’s Your Need”

Matthew 15:29-31 Living Bible (TLB)

29 Jesus now returned to the Sea of Galilee and climbed a hill and sat there. 30 And a vast crowd brought him their lame, blind, maimed, and those who couldn’t speak, and many others, and laid them before Jesus, and he healed them all. 31 What a spectacle it was! Those who hadn’t been able to say a word before were talking excitedly, and those with missing arms and legs had new ones; the crippled were walking and jumping around, and those who had been blind were gazing about them! The crowds just marveled and praised the God of Israel.
Further Thought:  Let’s remember why God provided us scripture: Romans 15:4 Amplified Bible (AMP) “For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope and overflow with confidence in His promises”.

John 1:1-5 reminds us that Jesus is the Word.  So, as the people heard Jesus [the Word] in the above passage, they came in faith and received what grace had made available for whatever they needed.  We receive the same way today, according to Romans 10:17.  So, whatever your need is, press your way to hear what the Word of God says about it.  Now according to Romans 12:2 continue to renew your mind with the truth of what God’s Word says about “need”, acknowledge it belongs to you, believe it, receive it, and rest in it.

Finally, Matthew 15:22-28 reminds us that healing is the children’s bread.  It’s one of your benefits, now take it.  Now begin to speak to your condition and tell it what the Word of God says and that it must bow.  It can’t stay; it’s trespassing on private property owned by the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.  Hebrews 10:23 tells us to hold fast to our confession of faith [confidence] without wavering for He Who promised is reliable (sure) and faithful to His word.  Somebody Shout Glory!!!!!! Hallelujah

Have a great day and keep chewing on God’s Word.
