Good Friday Morning. Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:
“Prepare 2 Receive”
Matthew 18:19-20 New King James Version (NKJV)
19 “Again [assuredly] I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

Further Thought: There is a lot packed in these two verses. 1. Even if you don’t know what God’s Words say about whatever you are facing, connecting with someone who does know is essential. 2. Jesus said when we know what’s been provided and ask for it in faith, it will be done. 3. If that wasn’t clear enough, Jesus said when two or three come together in agreement based on the authority provided in His Word, he said, “I’m present with you”. Did you hear that? Have we been ignoring Jesus in our prayer meetings and church services?
So when we chew [think about, mediatate] on today’s passage, there should be no reason we don’t receive. I know your flesh may not believe this, but think about this statement: Where in God’s Word do we find the people struggling to receive what they asked of Jesus? They didn’t, and neither should we. So, with today’s passage in mind, prepare yourself for an encounter with the King of Kings the next time you attend a prayer meeting or church service. Let’s stop the struggle and believe what the Word of God says, receive it, knowing Jesus is present, saying be made whole.
Have a great day and keep chewing on God’s Word.
