Understanding the Kingdom

Good Monday Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“Understanding the Kingdom”

Mark 4:26-29 King James Version (KJV)

26 And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; 27 And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how.

28 For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.  29 But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.

Further Thought: In today’s passage, Jesus provides an example of how the Kingdom of God operates. The seed in today’s passage is the Word of God. Night and day, the man waters and protects the seed. He doesn’t do anything that will abort or cause the seed not to produce. Without any additional assistance, the seed does what it was created to do. Remember Romans 12:2 says, “And do not be conformed [limited by] to this world [remember you are now under the reign of a new Kingdom], but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God”. You don’t have to concern yourself with the how. Just believe you receive according to Mark 11:24-26 and Jesus said He will ensure His Word comes to pass in your life. This is the Kingdom lifestyle, the only approved lifestyle for the believer.

Have a great day and keep chewing on God’s Word.
