connecting with God and you!

What Do U Desire

Good Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“What Do U Desire”

Mark 11:22, 24-26 King James Version (KJV)

22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever [you] desire, when [you] pray, believe that [you] receive them, and [you] shall have them.

25 And when [you] stand praying, forgive, if [you] have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

26 But if [you] do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

Further Thought:  Psalm 37:4-5 reminds us, “4 Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.  5 Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass”.  So this passage tells us that God first mentioned the “desires of the heart.”  Now, we all have desires, and not all of them are God-inspired. But today, we are talking about your desires that agree with God’s Word and what he has spoken to you.  Mark 11:22, 24-26 above reminds us how we get them to manifest.

  1. Find out what God has said in his word about your desire. [Faith in God can only come by hearing and hearing what he has said]
  2. Begin to renew your mind with this truth so it goes from your head into your mouth and takes root in your heart.
  3. Now, start to see yourself with it or doing it.
  4. Continue speaking it, believing it, and receiving it as your.  In verse 24 above Jesus said “you shall have them” [those things you believe you receive]
  5. While you are waiting on the manifestation, stay in love at all costs. Remember, according to Galatians 5:6, your faith can only work by love. Your love is the fuel to your faith.
  6. God said in Jeremiah 1:12 that it’s his part to ensure it manifests in your life.

So what do you desire?  Have a great day, and keep chewing on God’s Word.
