What’s In Your Way

Good Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“What’s In Your Way”

Luke 19:1-5 The Message (MSG)

1-4 Then Jesus entered and walked through Jericho. There was a man there, his name Zacchaeus, the head tax man and quite rich. He wanted desperately to see Jesus, but the crowd was in his way—he was a short man and couldn’t see over the crowd. So he ran on ahead and climbed up in a sycamore tree so he could see Jesus when he came by.

5 When Jesus got to the tree, he looked up and said, “Zacchaeus, hurry down. Today is my day to be a guest in your home.”

Further Thought:  Did you notice Zacchaeus didn’t complain about the crowd or what was preventing him from seeing Jesus?  No, his desire to see Jesus moved him to run ahead and climb into a tree, and when Jesus passed by, Zacchaeus’ faith caused him to stop.

So today, as you chew on this nugget, remember that faith in God doesn’t make excuses or give up.  It doesn’t matter if you’re at the front of the line or at the back of the line.  Your faith [your positive response to what God has said] causes you to rise above all limitations and allows you to see and experience what God desires for you, despite what may temporarily be in your way.

Have a great day, and keep chewing on God’s Word.
