connecting with God and you!

Is He?

Good Friday Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“Is He?”

Psalm 23 New King James Version (NKJV)

1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not [lack] want.

2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the [waters of rest] still waters.

3 He restores my soul [mind, will & emotions]; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.

4 Yea, [even] though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil;

For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.

6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will [return] dwell in the house of the Lord [to the end of my days] Forever.

Further Thought:  What a power declaration of faith to make daily and multiple times daily.  If we confess and meditate upon this passage daily, how could we ever be defeated?  So, today’s question is, “Is the Lord Jesus Your Shepherd?”  If he is, then he’s responsible for those who’ve put their trust in him.  With that in mind, let me encourage you to stop living as if it’s you against the world.  No, it’s you following in the footsteps of Jesus, and remember, according to John 16:33, he’s already overcome the world, and today, he’s looking for those who will allow his Holy Spirit to guide them in overcoming every situation.

Have a day, and keep chewing on God’s Word.
