The Power of Faith-Filled Words

Good Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“The Power of Faith-Filled Words”

Romans 4:21 King James Version (KJV)

21 And [Abraham] being fully persuaded that, what he [God] had promised, he was able also to perform.

——–

Further Thought:  Today, we are talking about the power of your faith-filled words [God’s Word] that you are fully persuaded of.  This is what Abraham demonstrated in today’s passage.  No, he didn’t have a bible or the modern ways of hearing God’s Word. However, let’s remember his name [Abraham] means “father of nations.”  So, every time someone called his name, he heard [renewing his mind with] “You are a father of nations,” even though he and Sarah hadn’t been able to have a child until they believed and received the word God gave them at the ages of 75 and 65.

So how do we become fully persuaded in what God has said?  Romans 10:17 reminds us we get this faith by continually hearing what God has said in His Word.  As we continue to hear what God has said, we set into motion the process of “renewing our minds,” according to Romans 12:2, to prove God’s perfect will in our lives.  Once we are fully persuaded of what God has provided by grace [healing, joy, peace, wisdom, authority, favor…], we will take action by speaking and acting upon what God has said.  From that moment, our faith-filled words [God’s Word] goes into action to cause those things we believe we receive to come to pass.  As we close, I encourage you to read the “Additional references” below.

Have a great day, and keep chewing on God’s Word.
