connecting with God and you!

Enjoy Your Inheritance

Good Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“Enjoy Your Inheritance”

2 Peter 1:3-4 King James Version (KJV)

3 According as his [Jesus] divine power hath [past tense] given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye [you] might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Further Thought:  When someone dies and cares enough to include you in their will, the least you should do is come to the reading of the will and find out what now belongs to you.   Now, if you don’t care enough to show up, then there is nothing they can do.  It’s now up to you if you will receive what they cared enough to leave you.  In today’s passage, Jesus reminds us that he’s given us all we need to live victorious lives.  Now the ball is in our court.  We will take the time to discover how much he loved us and what are theall things that pertain unto life and godliness and the exceeding great and precious promiseshe’s left us.  He said we can only know what he’s left us if we show up for the reading of the will.  Let me remind you the will is being read at our local churches on Sunday mornings and during our mid-week services.  We can also take a few minutes each day to discover and renew our minds to the abundance he’s already provided.  So, as you start this new day, I want to encourage you to take a few minutes to open up the will of God, which is his word, to discover and enjoy the inheritance that now belongs to you.

Have a great day, and keep chewing on God’s Word.

  1. What a great analogy! We must show up to receive what God has for us. Be partakers and not just onlookers. Thank you sir….
