Good Friday Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“Consult Him 1st”

Proverbs 3:5-6 New King James Version (NKJV)

5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;

6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct [make smooth or straight] your paths.

Further Thought: Today’s passage reminds us that God knows how smart we are. Even with all our gifts and talents, we are reminded that’s not enough. Yes, we still have to plan, but before we execute and sign the contract, our Heavenly Father tells us to consult (acknowledge) Him for final approval. Remember, He’s “Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end,” according to Revelation 1:8. Simply put, He’s already seen where you and I are attempting to go, and His Spirit that lives in us knows the paths we are to take. He will guide us, but only if we consult Him.
