Good Friday Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“Wise or Foolish Builder”

Matthew 7:24-25 The Passion Translation (TPT)

24 “Everyone who hears my teaching and applies it to his life can be compared to a wise man who built his house on an unshakable foundation.

25 When the rains fell and the flood came, with fierce winds beating upon his house, it stood firm because of its strong foundation.

Further Thought:  Today’s passage reminds us that the storms of life will come to us all.  Now, the wise man prepares by storing up and applying God’s Word to his life, which is his foundation.  Though it may appear from time to time that life is getting the better of him, nevertheless, he knows God’s Word will sustain him.  As a wise builder, let me encourage you to keep building your life on the foundation of God’s Word.  Any other foundation is incapable of supporting you through the storms of life.
