Good Monday Morning. Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:
“Our Daily Motto”
Psalm 19:14 King James Version (KJV)
14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.

Further Thought: At the conclusion of our Sunday Service at The Connection Church in Woodbridge, VA, our pastor challenged us to make today’s passage our motto to start each day this week, and I want to extend this same challenge to each of you. As citizens of the Kingdom of God, we have received orders to speak God’s Words and to meditate on His thoughts [Joshua 1:8 & Proverbs 4:20-22]. So, as we go throughout our day, let’s be mindful of our words and thoughts. Remember, the only acceptable words to our Heavenly Father are His Words, which are words of faith [confidence, power, love, soundness, expectation, forgiveness, kindness, I can accomplish all things through Christ who infuses me with strength].
Imagine how our lives would change if we made this passage our daily motto. “Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my [firm, impenetrable] Rock and my Redeemer.” James chapter 3 reminds us that our tongues set the course for our lives.
Have a great day and keep chewing on God’s Word.
