“How Would U Act”

22 And Jesus answering, saith to them [his disciples]: Have the faith of God. (DRA)

24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever [you] desire, when [you] pray, believe that [you] receive them, and [you] shall have them. (KJV)

Further Thought:  Recently, I heard the testimony of a pastor who was in prayer asking God for finances for his church, and his testimony provided greater insight into today’s passage.  He prayed oh God, we need 3 million dollars somehow, some way, please, Lord, we need 3 million dollars.  He said the Lord stopped him and asked. How would you act if you already had the 3 million dollars?  The pastor said I would be real happy.  So, the pastor went back to praying in the same manner.  Oh God, I need 3 million dollars somehow, and the Lord stopped him again and asked him. How would you act if you already had the 3 million dollars?  The pastor said I would be real happy.  So, the pastor went back to praying oh God, somehow, some way, I need 3 million dollars.  Once again, the Lord stopped him and asked him, how would you act if you already had the 3 million dollars?  Then the pastor got it, oh, you want me to believe I have received it when I pray.  Then he began to praise God, thanking him for the finances, and over time, the money came in.

Mark 11:24 “Therefore I say unto you, What things soever [you] desire, when [you] pray, believe that [you] receive them, and [you] shall have them.”

So, this morning, the question is, how would you act if you already had the thing you’ve been believing for?
