Good Friday Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“What R U Magnifying”

Psalm 34:3 New King James Version (NKJV)

Oh, magnify the Lord with me, And let us exalt His name together.

Further Thought:  Today’s passage reminds us of the importance of magnifying and exalting the Lord.  One definition of “magnify” means to “make bigger.” One meaning of “exalt” is to “lift up.”  So when we confess the Word of God or sing songs of praise and worship, we are magnifying and exalting our Lord.  These are two simple ways of establishing in our own lives that Jesus is our Lord and is exalted above any situation or circumstance.  It helps us take our minds off the problem and on to the solution, which is the Word of God.  Can you see how important this should be in our lives?  We also come to recognize that his name “Jesus” is above all other names, and through faith in his name causes all things to become possible in our lives.

So today, what are you knowingly or unknowingly magnifying and exalting above the King of king and the Lord of lord?
