Good Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“In His Image”

Genesis 1:26-27 King James Version (KJV)

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness…

27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Further Thought:  Image is also defined as photo, copy, twin, double, duplicate, spitting image, and carbon copy.  When God sees you, he sees himself, and when others see you, they recognize there is something different about you even though they may not know you are a citizen of the Kingdom of God.  When you and I received Jesus as Lord, we regained our ability to know who and whose we are.  We now have no reason to remain the same or make excuses about anything.  We have the very DNA of our Heavenly Father, so whatever we see Him doing in the Word, he’s deposited the same creative ability inside us.  That should get your juices flowing as you start this new day.  Now our part is to continually renew our minds to the image in which we were created.  We must not allow any other image(s) to form in our lives other than God’s image, which he’s provided in His Word, of who we are, what we can have, and what we can do.
