Good Monday Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“All Things”

John 1:1-3 King James Version (KJV)

1 In the beginning was the Word [Jesus], and the Word [Jesus] was with God, and the Word [Jesus] was God.

2 The same was in the beginning with God.

3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Hebrews 1:3 New International Version (NIV)

3 The Son [Jesus] is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word…

Further Thought:  Today’s passage reminds us that “All Things” were created by Jesus, and his powerful word also sustains them.  Yes, Jesus is the creator of all things, and before they were created, he factored in all mankind would do in an attempt to destroy them.  So, there is no need to fear that mankind will do something that will destroy the earth before its appointed time.  Now, if that wasn’t exciting enough, recognize this: All the power God has is contained in his Word, and he’s made it all available to us.  Somebody Shout Glory!!!!  Now it’s time to set aside a few quality minutes today to get alone with God, your creator, and the creator of heaven and earth; with him, all things become possible.
