Good Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“There’s Security In Obedience”

Psalm 91:9-11 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

Because you have made the Lord your refuge (protection), and the Most High your dwelling place (place of safety),

There shall no evil befall you, nor any plague or calamity come near your tent (home).

For He will give His angles [especial] charge over you to accompany and defend and preserve you in all your ways [of obedience and service].

Further Thought:  Did you notice the passage didn’t say we would be protected wherever we go?  No, our God has only promised to accompany and defend us when we go where he’s leading.  Unfortunately, there are still consequences for wrong decisions.  Romans 8:14 reminds us, “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” King’s children are to be led by what the King has said and not by their feelings, the best deals, or what is popular. Proverbs 3:6 also reminds us that as we acknowledge the Spirit of God (the Holy Spirit), who lives in everyone who has accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior, in our planning, he “shall,” not might, direct our path.  So today, let us stay on the road of security, and we do that by obeying what we know God has said or revealed to us by His Spirit. So, regardless of what’s going on, you are now empowered to fear no evil. Now, receive this benefit of security and begin to speak it over your life, home, and workplace.
