“Don’t Write Them Off”

James 5:19-20 The Message (MSG)

19-20 My dear friends, if you know people who have wandered off from God’s truth, don’t write them off. Go after them. Get them back and you will have rescued precious lives from destruction and prevented an epidemic of wandering away from God.

Further Thought:  From the least to the greatest, we all need to be encouraged to continue fighting the good fight of faith.  Let’s remind those who have wandered off that they are winners and overcomers who can do all things through Christ, who infuses them with His Strength.  Our Heavenly Father would never write us off, so let’s not write off one another.  Now, this doesn’t mean you approve of what they are doing, but we must all recognize we may not be the ones who can reach them for God, but God knows who can.  For this reason, we have been commanded to pray and ask God to send laborers (someone they will receive from) across their path.  So, can you be counted on as one of God’s Laborers?  Remember, when we sow words of encouragement and another waters with words of life, we allow God to do His part in restoring another life.
