“Your Attention Please”

34 “Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes.

Further Thought:  John 14:6 reminds us that Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.”  Recognize what you may be facing or attempting Jesus has already seen the end result and has been there, and He has your answer.  So, as you start this new week, I want to encourage you to relax.  God is not stressing because of what you are facing and neither should you.  Now, the only way He can get his answer to you is for you to cooperate with Him.  And we cooperate with Him by keeping our minds focused on what He has said according to Isaiah 26:3.  His word for you today is “Give me your attention.”  So, whatever you are facing, Jesus said in 1 Peter 5:7, “Cast the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.”  Make the quality decision right now to cast all your cares on God.  Give them all to Him.  Now, relax and give your attention to what God is doing right now and allow Him to direct your steps according to Psalm 32:8; Psalm 37:23 and John 16:13-15.
