Good Friday Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“Operating In His Power”

Mark 3:14-15 The Passion Translation (TPT)

14 He appointed the Twelve, whom he named apostles. He wanted them to be continually at his side as his friends, and so that he could send them out to preach 15 and have authority to heal the sick and to cast out demons.

Further Thought:  Just as Jesus appointed the 12, He’s now called us all as believers to go forth and represent the Kingdom [Matthew 28:18-20].  Verse 14 above says the apostles were to be continually at the side of Jesus, to observe and put into action what they had seen and learned. It is the same for you and me today.  Our advantage is that we have the written Word of God and the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God, the author of the Bible, living continually in us 24/7.  Let’s recognize we received all the power required to complete what we’ve been called to do the moment we accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior.  Now, we need continual training in cooperating with the Holy Spirit on how to operate this power.  So, let me encourage you to start this moment by allowing the Holy Spirit to instruct you and teach you throughout your day [Psalm 32:8].  Finally, don’t forget to attend in-person training this Sunday Morning at your local church.
