“The Secret Ingredient”

Ephesians 5:1-2 The Message (MSG)

5 1-2 Watch what God does, and then you do it, like children who learn proper behavior from their parents. Mostly what God does is love you. Keep company with him and learn a life of love. Observe how Christ loved us. His love was not cautious but extravagant. He didn’t love in order to get something from us but to give everything of himself to us. Love like that.

Further Thought:  Ephesians 5:1-2 reminds us to be imitators of God as dear children. And we know that God is love.  As we start this new day, let’s remember that the fuel to our faith is our love. So, whatever we do to demonstrate our love for Jesus and to ensure others get to experience the same, we must do it in love. Yes, love is the secret ingredient.
