Good Friday Morning. Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:
“His Solutions”
Mark 7:32-35 Living Bible (TLB)
32 A deaf man with a speech impediment was brought to him, and everyone begged Jesus to lay his hands on the man and heal him. 33 Jesus led him away from the crowd and put his fingers into the man’s ears, then spat and touched the man’s tongue with the spittle. 34 Then, looking up to heaven, he sighed and commanded, “Open!” 35 Instantly the man could hear perfectly and speak plainly!

Further Thought: Did you notice the people asked Jesus to “lay hands on the man and heal him”? But Jesus’ response was no, that’s not what the Father has instructed me to do. He’s instructed me to get him alone so he can receive what he needs. (See John 5:19).
I believe Jesus knew this group who brought the man were not prepared for how He would handle this issue, so He got the man alone for him to receive. Remember in Isaiah 55:8 “…God said that how you and I would handle the problem is not necessarily how he would handle it”. [Paraphrased]
When you read God’s Word, are you beginning to discover that your faith [what you believe] is being challenged? If God can get us to elevate our thinking, it will be NO LIMITS to what He can do through and for us. Today’s passage reminds us that our God has solutions we could never think of without any financial cost.
So today’s question is: If your son, daughter, or loved one could neither hear, speak, nor walk, …..what instructions would you be willing to follow? Better yet, are you willing to take the time to seek God in how he will use you to set them free? Remember, Jesus said in John 14:12, the things He did, shall those who believe in Him do and greater.
Have a great day and keep chewing on God’s Word.
