connecting with God and you!

You R Blessed

Good Monday Morning. Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“You R Blessed”

Proverbs 28:20 King James Version (KJV)

20 A faithful man shall abound with blessings…

——–

Further Thought:  Now, you may say I’m not blessed, or I don’t feel blessed. Recognize you have been, not going to be, created in the image and likeness of God. And from the moment you entered the earth, God’s blessing was upon you.  That is the blessing that makes rich in all areas of life.  Now, if you are not experiencing that blessing, the Good News is God gave you breath today to start experiencing it.  Remember, the only force that can stop you from achieving greatness is you. No, not the devil, but you.

I know some of you are saying, I don’t know about this blessing you are talking about, Landy, but it must be received by faith.  The Bible says faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.  God used his faith to create the heavens and the earth.  You see, God didn’t create the earth out of nothing, but he created it from what couldn’t be seen. Remember according to 2 Peter 3-4 God has already given unto you all things that pertain unto life and godliness.  So your faith (truth and confidence) in what God has said, doesn’t make God do anything.  It only appropriates what God has already done.  I’ve come to remind you that you were created to operate in faith.  That is the life you have been called to live.

Now, to grow in this new blessed life, you will have to make some adjustments. No, it’s not too late. If you are still here, you can still walk in the manifestation of God’s best.  Recognize that to have something you’ve never had, you have to be willing to do something you’ve never done. This starts first with giving your life to Christ. The Bible says in Romans 10:9, “If you would confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Next, get connected to a Bible-believing church in your local area. Yes, there is one there; if it’s not, the Holy Spirit who now lives in you will guide you to your new city where your assignment is. In the Kingdom of God, there are no lone rangers. We need each other to fulfill all we’ve been called to accomplish.

As we close, recognize that your faith (trust and confidence) in God’s words allows you to receive from another domination.  Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”  So, as you start this new day, remember to stay in love, love yourself and others, and know that you are blessed with God is your source.

Have a great day and keep chewing on God’s Word.
