118 O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever!

Further Thought: There is no need to wait for Thanksgiving Day; let’s give thanks today.

Lord, the _________ Family, gives thanks unto you because you are good, and your love endures forever. As we reflect over this past year, we have not lacked any good thing whenever we have purposed to honor and obey your word. So, as we prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving, according to Proverbs 3, we have purposed to continue to trust you with all of our heart and not to depend on just what we know. We have come to recognize that the greater one, your Holy Spirit, is living inside each of us now. He is our Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby. So, no matter what challenges we may face now or in the future, we refuse to walk in fear, doubt, or unbelief. No, this Family walks in complete confidence in your word, in your love, in your peace, with your favor, with your guidance and direction, in all the affairs of life. Yes, Lord, you are good, and your mercies endure forever.
