Good Monday Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“Both R Required”

Hebrews 6:10-12 New International Version (NIV)

10 God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. 11 We want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end, so that what you hope for may be fully realized. 12 We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.

Further Thought:  According to today’s passage, we are not only encouraged to believe what God has said but to rest in His timing, which is demonstrated by our patience. The Bible calls this being fully persuaded.  Our example is Abraham. Even though both he and Sarah were past the age of childbearing, they became fully persuaded that what God had promised He was able to deliver.  So, let’s anchor our faith and patience in knowing that it’s impossible for our God to lie, Hebrews 6:18 and that it’s only a matter of time before the promise manifests.  Remember with God, “All things are possible,” Mark 9:23.
