The Kingdom’s Rate of Return

Good Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“The Kingdom’s Rate of Return”

Mark 10:28-30 Living Bible (TLB)

28 Then Peter began to mention all that he and the other disciples had left behind. “We’ve given up everything to follow you,” he said.

29 And Jesus replied, “Let me assure you that no one has ever given up anything—home, brothers, sisters, mother, father, children, or property—for love of me and to tell others the Good News,

30 who won’t be given back, a hundred times over, homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, and land—with persecutions!

All these will be his here on earth, and in the world to come he shall have eternal life.

Further Thought:  Most of us are familiar with the term rate of return.  We really pay attention to it when we look at our monthly or quarterly investment statements.  Well, that return rate could be up or down, depending on how the economy is doing.  However, no matter the rate of return, we are never satisfied.  Now, let’s switch systems from the world’s economy to Kingdom multiplication.  Jesus said the return rate of the Kingdom is 100x as much will be given in return [see verse 30 above].  Now you do the math.

Now, before you stop reading, let’s hear what Jesus is saying.  Anything you give up to demonstrate your love for Him and tell others the Good News, the 100x return is guaranteed [see verses 29 & 30 above].  Notice He didn’t say you would get it all in one lump sum, or you had to figure out how He was going to do it.  No, He said, I’ve given you my word to provide it for your entire lifetime, for you will not need it in Heaven. Jesus said the 100x return is for here on earth and not when you get to Heaven [see verse 30b above].  Let me encourage you to reread the above passage and allow God’s Spirit that lives on the inside of you to transform your thinking, which will enable you to operate wisely in both the world and the Kingdom of God’s economy.  Let’s recognize that each of our assignments [what God has called us to do] will require God’s super on our natural, so He needs you and me to believe and receive The Kingdom’s Rate of Return.

Have a great day and keep chewing on God’s Word.
