connecting with God and you!

Be Ye

Good Friday Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“Be Ye”

Isaiah 1:16-19 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

16 Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes! Cease to do evil,

17 Learn to do right! Seek justice, relieve the oppressed, and correct the oppressor. Defend the fatherless, plead for the widow.

18 Come now, and let us reason together, says the Lord. Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be like wool.

19 If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land;

Further Thought:  To be willing and obedient, starts with us first identifying what God has said.  Remember, Matthew 6:25-34 reminds us we are not to concern ourselves with the affairs of life, but we are to first discover/find out what God has said and do that.  Now, your flesh may not want to follow what God has directed in his word but know his word is the only thing he has promised [has obligated himself] to watch over [to ensure it manifests in your life].  So, let me encourage you today to stop and listen to what God is saying and “be ye” willing and obedient to carry it out.  Let’s know without any doubt in 2025, God wants us to experience his best.

Have a great day and keep chewing on God’s Word.
