“Why God’s Word”

God is our protection and source of strength. He is always ready to help us in times of trouble.

Romans 10:17 New Living Translation (NLT)

So faith [confidence in God] comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ.

Further Thought:  It’s not that God won’t help in our time of need but without His Word, it’s impossible for us to have faith [confidence] that He will do what He said He would do.  Only by consistently hearing and applying God’s Word do we gain confidence in knowing He will do what He said He would do. It shouldn’t be but some don’t know or won’t take the time to discover all God has made available in His Word.  So, today, I want to encourage you to take the time to discover what’s available, chew on it, and be determined to apply it to your life.  When you do, it will not only be there when you need it, but you will have absolute confidence in it.
