Good Morning. Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:
“Store Up the Word”
Psalm 119:11 English Standard Version (ESV)
I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.
——–
Further Thought: Romans 10:17 reminds us that faith in God only comes by hearing and hearing what He has said about a matter. According to Ephesians 4:30, we grieve the Holy Spirit of God who lives in us when we agree with anything that goes contrary to what God has said.
Chew on this: Do you invest in a 401k or IRA because you need the money now? No, you invest because you recognize you will need it in the future. It’s the same with God’s word. Now is the time to store up God’s word in your heart when you don’t need it.
Storing up God’s word is so important because each of us will face situations in this life that our money, good looks, friends, family, education, boss, or pastor won’t be able to get us out of. It’s going to take faith [trust and confidence] in the Word of God.
So, get out your bible & bible apps and start storing up the word of God. So, when you are faced with the challenges of life (and you will), you won’t slip into panic, but you will allow God’s Spirit that lives in you to remind you of the victory that’s yours because of the word of God you have stored up on:
Abundance
Faith
Favor
Forgiveness
God’s Supernatural Power
Guidance
Healing
Insight
Joy
Kindness
Love
Peace
Wisdom
……….
Store Up the Word!
Have a great day, and keep chewing on God’s Word.
