“A Sweet Smell”

2 Corinthians 2:14-15 New Life Version (NLV)

14 We thank God for the power Christ has given us. He leads us and makes us win in everything. He speaks through us wherever we go. The Good News is like a sweet smell to those who hear it.

15 We are a sweet smell of Christ that reaches up to God. It reaches out to those who are being saved from the punishment of sin and to those who are still lost in sin.

Further Thought:  I believe there is enough division, strife, and hate in our nation.  So, as Christ ambassadors, let’s agree with today’s passage, and let’s be a sweet smell to someone today who needs to see and hear about Christ.  Now, before we close, let’s review what today’s passage said about you, a sweet smell of Christ:

• Christ has given me His power as His ambassador.
• Christ causes me to win in everything He’s given me to do.
• Christ speaks through me wherever I go.
• I am a sweet smell of Christ to all I will encounter.
