Good Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“It Must Be Mixed”

Hebrews 4:2 New King James Version (NKJV)

2 For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.

Further Thought:  Yes, we can sit under the best preachers & teachers and still experience no change in our lives. Unless we mix faith (trust & confidence) in what God has said then and only then should we expect to experience change in line with what God has said. We demonstrate our faith when we believe what God said, receive it as ours, and act upon it. James 2:14-17 reminds us that faith alone is dead, useless it is accompanied by corresponding action. As we close, let’s recognize that hearing God’s word is only the beginning. We must take what we’ve heard and mix it with our faith, and we demonstrate this by believing it, receiving it, and acting upon it.
