Good Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“Wait Upon the Lord”

Isaiah 40:31 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC) & Living Bible (TLB)

But they that wait upon the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.

Further Thought:  I acknowledge it’s not always easy to wait upon God, [to expect, to look for, and hope in Him] to flow with Him.  Think of it this way: if it were easy, everyone would do it.  Whether you realize it or not, this is the life we signed up for when we accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior.  We are now called to live by faith.  To know and experience life beyond what we can taste, feel, and see.  To be led by God’s Spirit, according to Romans 8:14.  Yes, to have absolute confidence that God will do what He said He would do.  Hebrews 11:6 tells us that this is how we please God, and that is by acting upon what He said.

So today, let’s remind ourselves to slow down, relax, and draw upon the strength of God.  Substituting our strength for His, expecting and looking for Him to confirm what He has said.  Now, don’t give up or settle for anything less than what His Word says, or He has spoken unto you by His Spirit.  Recognize that Gods best is worth the wait.
