Keep the Answer Before You

Good Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“Keep the Answer Before You”

Proverbs 4:20-22 New International Version (NIV)

20 My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words.  21 Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; 22 for they are life to those who find them

and health to one’s whole body.

Further Thought:  Let’s recognize that there are zero perfect lives.  Yes, some have a better lifestyle than others.  However, we all are or will face situations that challenge us.  The Good News is that no matter what we are or will face, our Good Father has provided a solution.  Now, it’s our choice to follow His instructions for the answers we desire.  Today’s passage provides those instructions, and they are:

  1. Give your total attention to the solution God has provided in His word.
  2. Keep what God said before your eyes despite all the outside voices or what the report says. Remember, faith in God doesn’t consider any other report.
  3. Mediate on what God said, His solution.  Begin to see yourself receiving the answer you desire.  Become fully persuaded in knowing what God promised He will do.

According to today’s passage, life (answers) and health will be given when we follow God’s instructions, by keeping what He said, before our eyes, and in our mouth. If you are still unconvinced, Jesus said in Mark 11:24, “That whatsoever things we desire when we pray, believe that we receive them, and we shall have them.”  As we close, let’s remember, according to Romans 10:17, that faith in God [faith to receive what God has provided] comes by hearing and hearing what He has said. Now, don’t forget to keep what God said, before your eyes, in your mouth, and allow it to be your final authority.

Have a great day, and keep chewing on God’s Word.
