Good Friday Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“Go Through It”

Luke 22:31-32, 34 The Message (MSG)

31-32 “Simon, stay on your toes. Satan has tried his best to separate all of you from me, like chaff from wheat. Simon, I’ve prayed for you in particular that you not give in or give out. When you have come through the time of testing, turn to your companions and give them a fresh start.”

34 Jesus said, “I’m sorry to have to tell you this, Peter, but before the rooster crows you will have three times denied that you know me.”

Further Thought:  It’s encouraging to know that our Heavenly Father already knows every bad decision we will ever make.  Here we had Peter, who Jesus told would deny Him 3 times before it happened. Notice that Jesus didn’t focus on his denial but on what he needed to do after the denial.  So don’t keep reliving bad decisions.  They are not a surprise to our God.  But instead, come through them and share your love [your experience] with others going through a similar situation.
