Good Monday Morning. Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:
“Stay On Track”
Psalm 119:105 King James Version (MSG)
[God] By your words I can see where I’m going; they throw a beam of light on my dark path. I’ve committed myself and I’ll never turn back from living by your righteous order.

Further Thought: If you traveled from Washington, DC, to Richmond, VA, your GPS would tell you to stay on I95 for approximately 70 miles. Now, the decision to stay on I95 unless further instructions are given is up to you. However, if you elect to get off course and go your own way, the GPS will continue to speak to get you back on track, but the decision to follow is yours.
Similarly, when God tells us in His word or speaks to us by His Spirit where we should go or how to handle a matter, the decision to obey is also ours. Now, if we elect to get off course (by not following God), the Holy Spirit (God’s Spirit, the lives in us) will do as much as we allow Him to get us back on track. However, when we fail to follow God’s instructions, we position ourselves to face obstacles (dangers, hardships & disappointments) God never intended for us to face. Let’s not forget the children of Isreal whose disobedience turned an 11-day journey into a 40-year journey [see Joshua 5:6 and Deuteronomy 1:2]. I don’t know about you, but I’ve had enough delays, and with the help of the Holy Spirit, I’m going to stay on track. Let’s recognize that God not only desires to keep us on track, but He also wants to protect us along the way.
Have a great day, and keep chewing on God’s Word.
