Good Monday Morning. Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:
“Let’s Demonstrate Our Love”
1 John 4:20-21 New King James Version (NKJV)
20 If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? 21 And this commandment we have from Him [God]: that he who loves God must love his brother also.
Galatians 5:6 The Message (MSG)
For in Christ, neither our most conscientious religion nor disregard of religion amounts to anything. What matters is something far more interior: faith expressed in love.

Further Thought: It’s important to know that when we fail to act in love, we temporarily disconnect from God’s power and authority [read Mark 11:22-26]. Love is the fuel required for faith to work. Galatians 5:6 in the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible reminds us that our faith works by love. Let’s remember Jesus said in Hebrew 11:6 that without faith, it’s impossible to please Him. And He is pleased when we believe and obey what He has said in His word or spoken unto us by His Spirit, and the two will always agree. As we start this new week, let’s continue to remind ourselves that the love we demonstrate toward one another demonstrates our love for God. Let’s also remember in the Kingdom of God, there is no such thing as I Love God, but I hate my fellow man. No, you love your fellow man, but you hate the sin they are allowing to operate in their lives. So, let’s learn to separate the two and continue to demonstrate our love for God and man.
Have a great day, and keep chewing on God’s Word.
