“Follow His Steps”

The steps of the God-pursuing ones follow firmly in the footsteps of the Lord, and God delights in every step they take to follow him.

Further Thought:  This morning, the question is, whose footsteps are you following?  Some may say their parents, others a mentor, co-worker, or a friend.  Now, none of these answers are wrong.  However, no matter how successful or good the ideal appears, we should not allow anyone to influence us to go contrary to what God has said in His word.  Well, you may say, I don’t know what God has said about it.  Then that’s your signal to slow down and find out.  Remember, if you have accepted Jesus as your Lord, God’s Spirit is living inside you, and He said in Hebrews 13:5, “…I will never leave you, nor forsake you”.  He said in Psalm 32:8 Amplified Bible (AMP) that He would instruct and teach those willing to learn.  He also said, in Matthew 5:6 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC), they that hunger and thirst [desire] to do what’s right will be completely satisfied.  Now, does that sound like you should be concerned with missing out on His best?  So, let’s continue to allow God’s Word to guide our steps where success is always guaranteed.
