Incorruptible Seed

Good Friday Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“Incorruptible Seed”

1 Peter 1:23-25 New King James Version (NKJV)

23 [You and I] having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever, 24 because “All flesh is as grass, And all the glory of man as the flower of the grass.  The grass withers, And its flower falls away, 25 But the word of the Lord endures forever.” Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you.

Further Thought:  God’s word is incorruptible seed.  It never changes and according to verse 25 above, it last forever.  Incorruptible is defined as something that is unpersuadable to do other than what it was designed to do.  Know with confidence that when you and I sow the incorruptible seed of God’s word into any situation, it’s guaranteed to work.  Now remember, for any seed to grow, it must stay in the ground, and we do this by holding fast to our confession of faith [what God said and speaking and meditating only on that] and obeying what He has said.  So, what seed are you preparing to plant today? Remember, God’s word is incorruptible seed, so it’s guaranteed to produce.

Have a great day, and keep chewing on God’s Word.
