Good Morning. Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:
“Listen & Obey”
Romans 10:14-17 The Message (MSG)
14-17 But how can people call for help if they don’t know who to trust? And how can they know who to trust if they haven’t heard of the One who can be trusted? And how can they hear if nobody tells them? And how is anyone going to tell them, unless someone is sent to do it? That’s why Scripture exclaims,
A sight to take your breath away!
Grand processions of people telling all the good things of God!
But not everybody is ready for this, ready to see and hear and act. Isaiah asked what we all ask at one time or another: “Does anyone care, God? Is anyone listening and believing a word of it?” The point is: Before you trust, you have to listen. But unless Christ’s Word is preached, there’s nothing to listen to.

Further Thought: Romans 10:17 reminds us that faith in God comes by hearing and hearing what He has said. I know some of us have a very busy day ahead, but I want to encourage you to start your day by listening to the Holy Spirit (the Spirit of God that lives in everyone who has accepted Jesus as Lord) the one who has all the answers you require today [see 2 Peter 1:3-4]. We do this by purposefully reading God’s word [a chapter or one verse, you decide] and then allowing the Spirit of God to speak to us. Psalm 32:8 Amplified Bible (AMP) reminds us that the Holy Spirit’s assignment is to instruct us and teach us in the way we should go, if we are willing to learn. As Christ ambassadors, we are to tell others about His love, compassion, faithfulness, and mercies, they are new every morning. Remember, He (the Holy Spirit) is the one who has all the answers to life. Now, expect to hear and obey His directions throughout your day.
Have a great day, and keep chewing on God’s Word.
