Faith School

Good Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“Faith School”

Hebrews 10:38 King James Version (KJV) – Now the just shall live by faith…

Habakkuk 2:4 King James Version (KJV) – …. the just shall live by his faith.

2 Corinthians 5:7 King James Version (KJV) – (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

Hebrews 11:6 King James Version (KJV) – But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Further Thought:  Today’s passages remind us that faith is not optional in the Kingdom of God; it’s mandatory.  Romans 10:17 reminds us that faith [confidence] in God comes by hearing and hearing what He has said concerning whatever we are facing.  Now we have various ways of receiving faith.  It primarily comes from us hearing ourselves confess what God has said.  Another way is hearing a message from our local pastors.  The Holy Spirit recently reminded me that when I receive a message from my pastor, confess what God has said, or hear others speak faith-filled words, I’m participating in Faith School.  Luke 3:23 reminds us that Jesus was in Faith School for 30 years and then the Holy Spirit led him into the wilderness [training ground] to put what he was taught into action.  So, as you continue to grow your faith [confidence] in what God has said, think it not strange when you are led by the Holy Spirit to also put into action what you have been taught.  Examples of our training grounds are our homes, jobs, highways, supermarket, that difficult co-worker, boss, or maybe even at the mall.  As we close let’s remember Jesus reminds us in Hebrews 10:25 and Proverbs 4:20-22 not to forsake Faith School as believers.  So, if you are not connected to a local church, then ask your helper, the Holy Spirit who lives in you, to help you find the right church home.

Have a great day, and keep chewing on God’s Word.
