Good Friday Morning. Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:
“The Only Option”
Matthew 6:14-15 The Message (MSG)
14-15 “In prayer there is a connection between what God does and what you do. You can’t get forgiveness from God, for instance, without also forgiving others. If you refuse to do your part, you cut yourself off from God’s part.

Further Thought: We’ve said this in the past, but understand when you choose to forgive, you are not condoning what was done. No, and it’s not a sign of weakness. When you choose to forgive, you allow God to be your vindicator, according to Romans 12:19. You recognize you were not designed to harbor unforgiveness or offense but to remain focused on your assignment as an ambassador of Christ, in your home, on the job, and in your community.
Now think about it: is what you are potentially holding on to worth missing out on God’s best for you now? We all know the answer is no. So today, let’s choose to forgive. When we operate in this manner, we prove we not only value our relationship with God, but we also value what we are called to accomplish and that we won’t allow anything or anyone to stop it from coming to pass. Let’s remember that forgiveness in the life of a believer is not an option; it’s the only option.
Have a great day, and keep chewing on God’s Word.
