“Becoming More God Inside Minded“

1 John 4:4 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

Little children, you are of God [you belong to Him] and have [already] defeated and overcome them [the agents of the antichrist], because He Who lives in you is greater (mightier) than he who is in the world.

Further Thought:  Today’s passage reminds us that God has already provided us the victory over whatever we are or will face because Jesus, who defeated Satan and all his forces, His Spirit, the Spirit of victory, now lives in us.  Let’s remember Jesus said in John 14:11-13 that whatever he did, we shall do also and greater works.  Now, our part is to renew our minds to these truths and continue to become more aware of who we are and who’s living inside us. John 14:16 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC), reminds us who the greater one is that’s living in us.  He’s our Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby, and He will remain with us forever. He’s the Holy Spirit, God’s very own Spirit.  So, let’s continue to consult with the greater one concerning all the issues of life.  He’s waiting to provide all the help we will ever need.
