“He Chose You “

Ephesians 1:3-5 New Living Translation (NLT)

3 All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ.

4 Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. 5 God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.

Further Thought:  It’s encouraging to know that our God is a master planner.  He doesn’t make plans based on world conflicts or the economy.  Today’s passage reminds us that even before God made the world, He loved and chose us to be a part of His family.  And his plans will not change based on our past or future shortcomings.  Now, our part is to continue learning how to operate effectively in our new family.  Let’s take full advantage of every benefit and privilege.  Remember, nothing starts in the natural first, but in the spiritual.
