“What R U Asking”

John 15:7 Expanded Bible (EXB)

7 If you·remain [abide] in me and·follow my teachings [my words abide/remain in you], you can ask anything you want, and it will ·be given to [be done for; come to] you.

Further Thought:  This was Jesus speaking in today’s passage. It was a bold statement, but he knows if we hide His word in our hearts, we will only pray and ask according to His written word, which is His will. If you think about it, asking in this manner guarantees results. So, keep your request simple by asking for what the Word of God provides.
