Release Your Faith

Good Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“Release Your Faith”

Romans 12:3 King James Version (KJV)

3 … God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Mark 11:24 King James Version (KJV)

24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever [you] desire, when [you] pray, believe that [you] receive them, and [you] shall have them.

Further Thought:  Now that we’ve discovered God has given us the measure of faith, or another way to say it, we’ve all been given starter faith.  This measure of faith is what it takes to believe what He said.  Now, to gain and maintain confidence in what God has said, Romans 10:17 reminds us we have to hear and continue to hear the solution(s) God has provided in His word or spoken unto us by His Spirit, and the two will always agree.  In other words, our minds must be renewed with the truth of God’s word.

Mark 11:24 above reveals to us that once we’ve gained confidence in the solution God has provided, we are then ready to pray the prayer of faith and believe that we receive what we pray for. Well, some may say why. That doesn’t make sense to believe when I can’t see it.  I won’t believe it until I see the results.  Well, if you had it, why would you have to believe?  In the faith world, you have to believe you got it before you get it. Think about this:  Those of us who have a job are operating in this principle of “I believe I receive“. You believe your employer who most have never met will reward you at the end of the pray period.  You didn’t receive your money when you started, but you received it when you finished.  Likewise, God is asking us to release our faith by giving Him the same trust and confidence we’ve given to our employers. In exchange, Jesus said, “you shall them“, them what?  Them things you believe you received when you prayed.

So let me encourage you to take time to dig into the word of God [the Bible] and discover the solutions He has made available before you knew you had the issue, and begin to rest in them. Trust, have confidence in knowing that it is impossible for our God to lie, and he watches over His word to ensure it manifests in our lives.  So, today, release your faith, your truth, and confidence in what God has said.  Amen!

Have a great day and keep chewing on God’s Word.
