Good Morning. Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:
“Claim Your Benefits”
Psalm 103:1-5 New King James Version (NKJV)
1 Bless the Lord, O my soul [mind, will & emotions]; And all that is within me [heart, lungs, kidneys, blood, bones, joints…], bless His holy name! [they all bless the Lord, by functioning in the perfection they were created to function] 2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits:
3 Who forgives all your iniquities [sins], Who heals all your diseases, 4 Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,
5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Further Thought: In today’s passage, we find David encouraging himself, and yes, you and I must encourage ourselves as well. Sunday, before attending church, I heard “I’ve given my children benefits but they are not using them“. A benefit unused does you or me no good. Chat Gpt provides us with an example of how to redeem a benefit. “To redeem a benefit, you typically need to follow a specific process outlined by the benefit provider. This may involve contacting customer support [you have a built-in customer support, and his name is the Holy Spirit]. The exact steps will vary depending on the type of benefit. If you encounter issues, contact the benefit provider’s customer support for assistance.”
In the Kingdom of God, if you are claiming a financial benefit, it may take longer because it involves others. For this reason, it’s essential that we continually pray for our fellow man, according to 1 Timothy 2:1-4. Our God is not raining down money from heaven. As you give, God said he will cause men to give unto you. He will use men to show you favor and cause you to be advanced. Now, the benefits of forgiveness and healing only involve you and God. So, today and every day, let’s “Not Forget” a single benefit God has provided. And don’t be afraid to follow up with our customer support [the Holy Spirit] if the benefit has not manifested. Now remain teachable so He can show you any adjustments you need to make.
Today’s passage lists just a few of the benefits God has made available to His children. Now, for you to receive your benefits requires two things: #1 Your faith to believe and receive them. #2 Your love. Galatians 5:6 reminds us that our faith works by love. So if you’ve submitted a claim and still refuse to forgive your fellow man, you may find your claims request being put on hold until you decide to agree with God. Unforgiveness disconnects us from operating in the power of God [Read: Mark 11:22-26]. We’ve shared this before, but whatever your fellow man has done to you, it’s not worth you not forgiving them and missing out on your benefits.
Have a great day and keep chewing on God’s Word.
