connecting with God and you!

It’s A Must

Good Monday Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“It’s a Must”

Romans 12:2 New King James Version (NKJV)

2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed [completely changed] by the renewing [renovation] of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

——-

Further Thought:  Proverbs 23:7 tells us, “For as he thinketh in his heart so is he”.  As we chew on today’s nugget, let’s understand that we can’t go any higher than our level of thinking.  So I have a question for you today. What do you desire from God’s word to manifest in your life?  Well, as always, I’ve come with Good News.  Today’s passages tell you how you get it, and that is by renewing [renovate] your mind to the truth, the answer God has provided in His word.  Joshua 1:8 goes on to say when you discover the answer, you “shall not let it depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it.  For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success”.  You must see yourself with it before it manifests.

If we will change our thinking so that we believe what God says in His Word about who we are and what we have, then this agreement between our spirits and souls forms a majority, and our flesh [will have no choice but to come along for the ride] as we experience the life of God that has been deposited in our spirits. [AWLC]

Now, each day we are blessed with 1440 minutes, so 1% of that would be 14 minutes and 40 seconds.  As believers, do we think this is too high a price to pay to discover God’s good, acceptable, and perfect will?  I want to encourage you not to stop at 14 minutes and 40 seconds.  Make this the starting point of your daily fellowship with God.  Let’s remember, according to 1 Corinthians 2:16, we have the “mind of Christ,” and now we are charged to conduct ourselves accordingly; however, it will require mind renewal.  Amen!

Have a great day and keep chewing on God’s Word.
