Good Monday Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“Trust Him”

Proverbs 3:5-8 (The Message (MSG))

5-8 Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own.  Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track.  Don’t assume that you know it all.  Run to God! Run from evil!

Your body will glow with health, your very bones will vibrate with life!

Further Thought:  Today, let’s stop complicating what our faithful God has said and done.  He said, Trust Him today.  You are never alone.  His Spirit, the Holy Spirit that lives in everyone who has accepted Jesus as Lord, will never leave nor forsake you, so you don’t have to try to figure out your day.  He said, ‘In everything you do and everywhere you go, listen for His voice, and He will ensure you stay on track.’  Remember, according to Isaiah 55:8-9, His thoughts and ways are higher than yours.  So think it not strange when He speaks something to you that is contrary to the norm, but it will always agree with His word [the Bible].  Today’s passage concludes by confirming that radiant health is a byproduct of trust.

Now, I’ve learned that the Holy Spirit won’t scream. He won’t force us to spend time with Him. No, that’s the commitment we have to make on our journey of faith. So the question today is, will you trust Him to deliver you? Will you trust that He loves you? Will you trust that He will never leave nor forsake you? I know you have answered “Yes” to each of these questions. Now, as you go throughout your day, expect God, according to Jeremiah 1:12, to confirm His word in your life.
