Good Morning. Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:
“Turn Your Case Over”
Mark 11:24-26 King James Version (KJV)
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye [you] desire, when [you] pray, believe that [you] receive them, and [you] shall have them. 25 And when [you] stand praying, forgive, if [you] have ought [offense] against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. 26 But if [you] do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
Romans 12:19 Amplified Bible (AMP)
19 Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave the way open for God’s wrath [and His judicial righteousness]; for it is written [in Scripture], “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.

Further Thought: Today, we are reminded of the connection between forgiveness and answers to our prayers. Unforgiveness and love cannot coexist. Our faith in God is demonstrated by our obedience to what He has said. It’s sad to say, but some of us are praying, at the same time refusing to forgive and expecting God’s best to manifest. Let’s remind ourselves that there are standards in the Kingdom of God, and forgiveness is at the forefront. Recognize that when we choose not to forgive, we give the enemy access [power, authority] into our lives. Ephesians 4:26-27 reminds us not to harbor unforgiveness for even one day, as this gives the devil [enemy] access into our lives. Recognize, our adversary (the devil) has no power but the power we allow him to have in our lives.
Now, let me encourage you not to forfeit your power. If you are holding on to unforgiveness, then drop it. Stop trying to defend yourself. Stop attempting to justify what you are not forgiving. But turn your case over to the judge of the universe. He said he’s got your back. He will repay on your behalf, according to Romans 12:19 above. Now, don’t concern yourself with how He will do it. According to 1 Peter 5:7, cast your care [the weight, anger, bitterness, strife] on the Lord and leave it with Him. Now refocus on what you’ve been called to do today [loving God and living people].
Have a great day and keep chewing on God’s Word.
