Good Friday Morning.  Here’s Today’s Nugget to chew on:

“Expect 2 Hear”

Psalm 5:3 Amplified Bible (AMP)

In the morning, O Lord, You will hear my voice; In the morning I will prepare [a prayer and a sacrifice] for You and watch and wait [for You to speak to my heart].

Further Thought:  Unfortunately our busy, hard working lifestyles are not conducive to hearing from God. For this reason I agree with David the writer of Psalm 5 to take a few minutes at the start of each day not only to acknowledge God but to allow Him to speak to our hearts. You see at the beginning of each day you are the most focused and not easily distracted. You can quickly quiet your mind and with confidence start your day not only in God’s presence but also hearing from Him.  Remember prayer is simply you having a conversation with God. Now before you talk yourself out of hearing from God, Jesus said in John 10:27 “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me”.  Expect 2 Hear.
